Training on PCI Compliance is now a mandatory annual industry requirement for those who perform any duties toward the credit card transaction process. For our consideration, this includes persons involved with customer contact and subsequent relations, knowledge of and facilitating actual transactions, reporting, management of departments that accept credit card payments and terminal or system security. If you do not complete the training, this will impact your access to an ecommerce system as well.
Each September, university staff will be solicited to engage in this annual training.
A manager must submit the name or any new individuals requiring access to any online payment application or credit card terminal processing. For this access, they will be required to complete training.
